San Yengibar (Sasoon Yengibaryan) was born in a small town Dilijan, Armenia in 1975. He was involved in painting from the early ages. The following are some important dates of San's life in the way of becoming a sculptor:

  • 1982-1985: School of Fine Arts in Dilijan, Armenia.
  • 1987-1990: Igitian's Studio of Fine Arts, Department of Sculpture, Yerevan, Armenia.
  • 1990-1995: College of Fine Arts named after Panos Terlemezyan, Department of Sculpture, Yerevan, Armenia.
  • 1997: After the military service Sasoon was again immersed in art founding his own small art studio in Yerevan, Armenia.
  • 2007: participation to the International Symposium of Sculpture in the town of Mashta Helou, Syria.
  • 2008: participation to the International Symposium of Sculpture in the town of Samara, Russia.
  • 2008: San Yengibar's art works had been performed in the exhibition in the Union of Armenian Artists twice.
  • 2009: Moved to USA. Currenly San Yengibar lives and works in New York City.

During his sculptor career San Yengibar created several sculptures using ceramics, wood, stone, bronze, etc. See some of his works in the Gallery. San performs also antiques restoration.
